George Bush's behavior as a child explains it all
Edited on Thu May-19-05 11:45 PM by PlanetBev
In September, 2000, I read an article in Vanity Fair by Gail Sheehy about Bush. She interviewed many people who knew him as a child.

When he was playing baseball with his friends, if he appeared to be losing, he would try to change the rules. When that didn't work, he would pick up his ball and bat and go home.

Any questions?

2. LOL
Aww Georgie was a spoiled brat. Still is one. Only thing different now is he has powerful people backing him up and making him do the things he's doing.

3. Hurting his siblings, as well, is telling
Shooting them with bb's and thinking it was fun - pfui. And then there were the poor frogs. There was a kid on my block who killed frogs. He was the weird kid. The mean one.

4. There's also an anecdote about a teenage g.w. playing golf with his
mother, you know, Mrs. beautiful mind. Anyway, he was losing, so he had a very public, childish hissy fit, threw his golf club and stalked off the green.

Once again, any questions?

5. Mrs. Beautiful Mind should have swatted him on the ass
and taught him how to play with others.

What a spoiled brat. My 6-year-old doesn't even act that way!

7. I remember reading about him riding his bicycle....
in front of Barbara's car and she had a friend in the car with her and he was pissed off at her for some reason so he just weaved his bike in front of her car and made her almost come to a complete stop. He was about 26 years old at the time...

8. I remember that one, too!
The woman in the car and her husband had been friends of the Bushes for a long time. And then the Bushes went cold on them one day. Like they thought they were friends but the B's went frosty. A very strange family all around. Is any one of the them "real"?

11. Don't forget the Yale rugby sucker punch:
From http://www.thismodernworld.com/weblog/mtarchives/week_2004_08_08.html#001687">This Modern World

The above photo, credited to the Yale yearbook (the caption is in the original), appeared in yesterday's Los Angeles Times, alongside a story on the appeal of "bad boys" in American politics. It's not in the Times' online version, and the rest of the country should see it, I think.

Incidentally, while rugby is a contact sport, every player knows that tackling above the shoulders is a foul. So is leaving your feet during a tackle. Either of these is serious enough that the other team is immediately awarded a penalty kick, often directly resulting in points for the other team.

So even without throwing a punch, Bush is already well outside fair play.

Grasping an opponent by the back of the head and punching him in the face is beyond the pale -- I've watched rugby avidly for years, and I've never seen it during an open-field tackle like this, honest -- and will typically result in a player being immediately sent off.

He's a sociopath, as someone stated above, and it's a tragedy that so few are able to recognize it...
