How about "The Moderate Party"
Edited on Wed May-25-05 11:09 PM by darboy
Do you think it's possible that the "gang of 14" might get together with other moderates from both parties and defect to form a centrist third party in Congress?

they could get a lot of power that way, forcing the two sides to vie for their support in hopes of getting anything done.

Might make a good spoiler for the more radical aspects of the republican agenda.

1. How would we hear about it?
The media belongs to another party.

We do need a third party, and I personally would prefer Green to be it, but hey, at this point, for now at least, I'd settle for a confirmed SPLIT of the repub. party. Sure, why the hell not. I've been enjoying the beginnings of it these past few days anyway.
