Jebbie just asked for an investigation into Terri's initial collapse.

1. Sigh...
I'll give them this: They don't give up, even when truth slaps them in the face.

2. Latest Distraction
I guess this is the only thing they could come up with to draw attention away from the DSM.

3. In a related note.....
Jeb Bush today announced that he is ordering the state Attorney General's office to investigate the disappearance of "James," a slave who ran away from his Florida master in 1857. "We will pursue this to the very end," Bush was quoted as saying. "Uppity slaves will not be tolerated in Florida, and we will spend hundreds of millions of dollars and untold hours of state employees' time to get to the bottom of this."

5. He must have run out of Medicaid money to
grab along with FEMA money. God they will send thousands to die for money, but they will move heaven and earth to keep a dead woman alive for political points. These people really are not human... sub-human?

7. Distraction from DSM
They needed SOMETHING. Unfortunately, the public loves a good "soap opera" and all the * controlled media will play this up as a good distraction.

8. What an asshole
Why doesn't he send time making sure all nursing homes are properly funded and staffed in Florida? In fact, he should volunteer in one for a few weeks. I think I will suggest that.

9. 15 years later?
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 11:40 AM by BattyDem

Jeb's been governor for quite a while ... why didn't he investigate the matter long before now?

Is this what it's come to in this country? A governor gets involved in a case he had no business getting involved in and he ends up looking like an ass after the autopsy results are released, so he goes after the dead woman's husband in order to score some political points? He's not interested in prosecution, he's interested in persecution! :grr:

10. As one poster on Kos put it.
George W. and Jeb have become the Uday and Qusay of American politics.

In fact I'm going to use that in my LTTE.

11. And Jebbie Isn't Running for President....sure, yep, uhhuh
Jeb thinks everyone is as brain dead as Shiavo and believes that he is such a lover of life that he will persue all of this for no personal ambitions whatsoever. Go clean up your own tramp daughter before she ends up like Terry Shaivo.
