Rove is a loser. Here's your chance to tell him so!
This is another installment of pointing out what a pathetic, overrated loser Karl Rove has become.

Life isn't treating Karl well. After trying to hang the press over supposed "phony" stories about abuses at Gitmo, he's finding the icing technique of the press has bitten him in his shiny, round ass. For once, the market driven media is listening to the growing requests for more information on the DSM, and I don't think he's liking it very much.

So here's your chance, DU'ers. Tell Karl what a loser he is. Don't hold back - put the man in his place!

Writer.

2. A loser?
By what metric? How many elections in which he was campaign manager has he lost?

3. He's not doing so well NOW as policy adviser, is he?
He won two gubernatorial elections in TEXAS when "EVIL CLINTON" was in office. Not much of a feat. I had the privilege of eating tamales with Ann Richards in 1995 after her defeat. She knew there was no way she could defeat Bush in the current political climate in Texas.

He technically lost the 2000 election and barely won the 2004 election.

Dirty tricks only get you so far, don't they, Karl?

He's lost:

Social Security
Terri Schiavo
Filibuster ban
Trying to lynch Newsweek for supposed "false" Gitmo reports
I'm sure he has been trying to suppress the DSM

This is only 6 months into Bush's second term. Yes, Karl, I'm going to be as petty as you are and keep track of your constant fuck-ups. You're not who you think you are.

4. As Much As I Hate To Say It. He Is No Loser.
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 03:56 PM by emanymton
Nothing he has done or how he has done it do I endorse. He is many things, but loser is NOT one of them!

He has used the system to get him everything he has wanted and more. Niccolo Machiavelli may have shown him the way and the rest of the world is paying for his 'losing.'

So who is the real loser?

5. Winning through trickery shows no true mastery of politics
Just impishness. The man is a COMPLETE loser. He's 0 for 4 in policy. He's a total fuck-up. He can keep trying his little tricks to pin the media for "blundering" stories that really are true, but it will work for only so long.

He's a total loser!

6. Winning Is Everything. Machiavelli Suggested Killing Enemies.
No matter what happens after you win, the dead make no trouble.

I hate Machiavellian politics but when the oppostion is in the grave, one is the winner. Remember the goal is POWER.

He has the power to set the agenda. The oppostion does not.

7. Sure, he's attained power... but he's definitely not getting what he wants
Look at the list I provided above. Wasn't Social Security supposed to be the building of a "conservative era?" Weren't the elimination of filibusters supposed to enhance Republican rule for "25 years?" NONE of that is working!

Rove is failing. Rove deserves to have his failings pointed out to him. I am happy to do so.

Want to join me?

8. Having Power Is What He Wants. Using It Wisely Is Irrelevant
Point away.

Keep your passport nearby and be ready to run. Freedom is on the march.

Bush Lied. People Died. Media Cheered.
