Just heard Dana Bash on CNN say something infuriating
....before going to break on "Inside Politics"....she said something like "the President's Supreme Court announcement tonight will dominate the news for the next couple of weeks, pushing the Karl Rove controversy out of the spotlight"....

Why? Why Dana? Why does it have to? Fact is. It doesn't. And, thanks Dana, thanks so much for being the first MSM talking head to actually say out loud that the nominee story is now the big story. How nice for you, how nice for you all, a chance to go back to much more familiar territory. Covering a Bush White House story which allows you to bend up and smell his royal ass, instead of doing your friggin' jobs as watchdogs of the public trust.

You make me sick.

2. Only one major story per month allowed!!!
Otherwise there's no room for Harry Potter, Aruba white girl, hurricane whatever, dancing with the stars, etc!!

4. She makes me sick, too
She's right up there with Daryn Kagan and Paula Zahn. Only Republican-kissing right-wingers need apply, I guess.

6. Did you write the same to CNN?
We need to let them know that we're paying far more attention than they think.

10. Your kitty at the end - the black one ..
look like he enjoys eating as much as Sir Snowey (aka Mr. Fluffy)(our esteemed cat).

I always why the vet doesn't chew my behind out about Snow, but then my vet isn't too skinny himself.

7. She isn't the first MSM to say that! I've heard that all day!
I don't think you should be pi**ed at Dana. She's just saying what's true! I'm not concerned though. Rovegate will be back, and it could be bigger than it is today!

REmember, Fitz isn't going to stop the investigation just because of what the MSM does, and a nomination for a SCOTUS won't matter to him either!

8. Yup.
CNN is blatant. They aren't satisfied to read talking points from the RNC. They also have to state the strategy in an effort to pull the entire lapdog media along with them.

9. It doesn't matter whether Rove stays in the headlines
for the next few weeks. Fitzgerald isn't going to adjourn the grand jury just because the media aren't paying attention. That process will continue. The media, except for the WaPo, almost totally ignored Watergate for many months, too. The investigation will go on, and indictments will issue, and they will have to pay attention. And, unless the SCOTUS nominee is a total wingnut (like Roy Moore), that nomination won't be headline news for more than a few days. Most people don't give a damn about the Supreme Court -- that's not a sexy story. Spies and lies in the White House and a journalist in jail -- that's a sexy story.
