Good God, is there ever an appropriate time for the administration to fess up to their own screw ups? It is always the same. I can't stand it. They blow everything but it is never "the Time" to face it. Every answer is a cliché. Now its an "incident of National Significance" Geeze, how much worse can this get.

2. Are you calling your congressperson and saying this to him/her?
You can call locally. Their offices are open today. Go to www.congress.org and just type in the name of your person, or your state if you don't know who your person is.

You may discover, as I did when I called my guy (Henry Waxman) and a few other SoCal reps, that you will NOT be alone in demanding that they begin IMPEACHMENT proceedings. You're apt to get a staffer on the other end of the phone (providing it's a Dem) who will tell you they'll add you to the list, or that this isn't the first time they've heard this from a caller, or that you're not the only one who's called in about this.

LOTTA people out there are demanding IMPEACHMENT now. NOW, more than EVER. If last week wasn't enough to clinch it, I don't know what will. If anybody in DC thinks we're all safer on his watch, they're smokin' something, and back hitting the bottle again like he undoubtedly is.

It's just time. PAST time. Can we REALLY afford three more years of this? Can we afford ONE MORE YEAR of this? ARE we REALLY safer? Is he REALLY keeping us safe? Just ask New Orleans.

5. Called both Senators and my Rep. this AM and e-mailed all 3
yesterday. I'm from Mass. Kerry, Kennedy and John Tierney got an ear full. I have done this all along. Must say Tierneys office has always responded to my letters. Maybe the Senators just don't have time but I am told they record position phone calls. Kennedys Boston office was a little snippy, I think they are on overload. I'm trying my best like everyone else who gives a damn. And no, We will not survive another year. I'm afraid many of us around here will not survive the winter.

9. I think the criticism is what got them off their asses in the first place
Bush only cut his vacation short due to the press hammering him.

He would have continued to play golf and guitar and fundraise had people not started complaining and asking questions.

We need to keep on them so they keep getting things done.
