Mrs. Bush Sr. Shows her racist side
Meanwhile Mr Bush, already under pressure for the impression that he has been unable to empathise with the poor, mainly black victims of the disaster, was not helped by remarks made by his mother, Barbara, after touring a relief centre in Texas.

"What I'm hearing which is sort of scary is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality," Mrs Bush told the Public Broadcasting Service. "And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them."

1. Working very well for them...
Jesus.

This woman has not for a SECOND imagined what it was like to walk over dead bodies, see a national treasure of a city laid to waste, likely lost every material possession, and that's the lucky ones...

And the racism? Sigh. It's just too horrible to contemplate. I'm white. It's not a very proud thing to be anymore, and anyone wants to argue with me, all I can say is wait around a while, a year or two. Wait until you see what these racist bastards have done, and wait until you see how MANY people they've done it too. White. With 4 percent of the planet population, we have one quarter of the world prison population; overwhelmingly minority races. Anymore it feels ugly to be white, to be "privileged" for my race, in the eyes of these low-brained, selfish, godless, sorry excuses for Americans, who NEVER believed in freedom or equality. I'm just so sorry, sorry it's happening, sorry to see it, sorry it's in MY nation, sorry for all of it.

What a horrible bitch. That is all.

2. I was wondering where W. gets his racism from. Pappy grew up in
the North so wouldnt expect him to care a lot one way or the other. Im gonna look into Bab's past. I'm betting she is the reason * is scared to meet with the NAACP. Everything I hear paints her as the power behind the evil of the Bush family.

4. For Poppy, it's not race, but class, I think.
But, OTOH, remember way back in the 80's, the '84 campaign, I think, wasn't it he who was excorciated for cracking a joke about blacks liking "tight pussy and loose shoes" or something like that? Actually said it on the campaign plane, surrounded by reporters, and didn't get that it was offensive.

Or was it someone else?

5. Bush Family ties to Racist Organization
http://www.bartcop.com/18binion.htm

Barbara Bush and George H. W. Bush's brother, Prescott Bush, belong to a
political organization, AmeriCares. AmeriCares is a CIA front that
supports rightwing military operations while posing as a humanitarian group.
