Bernie Ward on right now, calling Arnie a coward and a pig...
"Is he vetoing the bill because he could never imagine being bent over by another man?"

Bernie's really, really pissed tonight.

Like he says - he's dangerous when he gets some rest.

3. I've had it with Guy

He's one of those people who thinks we should not do a thing about Roberts' nom to the SCOTUS. We've argued via email. He told me we should "lay in the weeds" to "pick our spots" and we should be concerned about looking like we're "howling". I wonder if he's howling now? I'm done with that DLC attitude. And I don't apologize about this rant. The joint issues of privacy and choice are important to me.

4. I don't know about Guy and the Roberts thing...
...I just know that he's not afraid to point out Bush's atrocities.

I think that one of the problems we have in the Democratic party being "concerned about looking like" ANYTHING...one of my biggest gripes is when I say something about the need to DEFEAT Karl Rove and I get the inevitable "but we can't sink to HIS level" response.

So we take the moral high ground and look at what Rove is doing in the media RIGHT NOW, TODAY. Look at how he's turning this whole Katrina thing around.

We need to seriously consider sinking to his level, even temporarily, and kicking his fat ass. I thought that when James Carvile joined the Kerry campaign he MIGHT have been willing to take Rove on, but he seemed to get his jollies by aggravating Tucker Eskew on MSNBC.

Who's laughing NOW, James?

Just my two cents' worth.

5. I'm for kicking ass over every issue
It worked for them for 8 damned years. And they still don't seem to think it's undignified to be clinging to Clinton's penis. Look what they've gotten away with - tax cuts for the wealthy, Iraq and now this. I say screw laying in the weeds and gnashing teeth over how we appear. And to hell with people who call themselves Dems but don't defend the right to choose with all they've got. I'll never send him another thin dime.
