Double Whammy...Anderson Cooper and Aaron Brown...they have
finally found their voice and their cause. Throw Olbermann and Jon Stewart into the mix and we have our voice. Wish we could get them all together on one network - MSM.

8. And, up until some blogger posted a personal conversation
between him and said blogger, he used to answer his email, personally, too.

He's a sweet guy. A nice boy from Minnesota (I think it's Minnesota).

2. I heard that Mr. Moonves wants to "re-invent" the news...
(and that he once offered, or thought of offering a job to Jon Stewart)

AND CBS has been (ever so slightly) less kool-aid drenched than the other biggies.

9. Really? I heard he said it should be more like the
entertainment division, which, if you ask me and several other DUers, news already IS more like entertainment and less like news.

10. But covering KAtrina is easy...
It's there...

They know who to go after....

It's basic Journalism 101....

Now, if you want true journalism, go read Seymour Hersh in the New Yorker......

the rest of these clowns are just running after ratings and then the news....

I hope they prove me wrong, but I doubt it.....

11. I get the feeling this is like the Friendly-Murrow like exposé. You
go along with the prevailing wind until you have the goods to deliver a stunning counterpunch. Kudos to Fred Friendly who held Murrow back until he had all the evidence to expose McCarthy on national TeeVee.
