Brit "Hmmm...time to buy" Hume's Rovian swipe at N.O. Mayor Nagin
This has the stench of Karl Rove ALL OVER IT:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,169194,00.html

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin (search) greeted President Bush when he arrived in Louisiana last night, and was at his side as he fielded questions on the Katrina relief efforts this morning. That quality time with the president, however, marks the mayor's first visit to the disaster area since Wednesday when Nagin pulled up stakes and moved his family to Dallas. The Dallas Morning News reports that Nagin has already bought a house in the city, and enrolled his daughter in school.

When the Mayor appeared on "Meet the Press" on Sunday from Dallas, he was never asked about his presence there, or his decision to move his family.

2. I heard Scarborough killer say that last night, but...
I dismissed the comment because, well, consider the source.

3. Brit Hume is a snide, insiped, sanctimonious blowhard. The mere
sight of him is nauseating.

5. Gee, why didn't Brit go ask Nagin himself?
Or doesn't he want to get the shit kicked out him on national television? No explanation from Brit Hume on why he didn't ask those questions himself, right to Nagin's face, his absence from Nagin's appearance, or his decision not to confront Nagin directly.

Hey, this demagoguery is as easy and thought-free as it looks! If I could pull a seven-figure salary doing it, I'd be right beside Hume.

considering only the most expensive homes survived. And there are no schools in NO.

9. Nagin was a republican before he ran for mayor.
He changed his party designation only so he could get elected. He contributed to GWB. Call him what you like, he appears to be DINO to me.
