2. Until someone comes up with a feasible explanation about how we're going
sway enough Republicans to vote for impeachment, count me on the skeptical side.

They vote as a block. They're like a bunch of Eastern European judges at the Olympics during the Cold War.

3. DU should just be grandfathered into the coalition.

4. I agree...
It should be "grandfathered" into the coalition.

5. I think that is wishfull thinking. We have work to do to prepare for
the 2006 elections. Much work to do. Let us not get lost. A President who has done absolutely nothing right and who only once admits mistakes..is not about to be impeached. When he has control over all levels of government.

8. EVERYBODY in congress is up for re-election
we can take advantage of that by getting everybody to tell their incumbents, "VOTE FOR IMPEACHMENT OR I DON'T VOTE FOR YOU." It could work if we could turn this into a non-partisan (anti-Bush vs. anti-Repub) issue.

7. Exactly how many Repub reps and senators
would be needed to get an impeachment vote assuming all Dems voted down the line?
