About all I can see that qualifies Miers for the SCOTUS is that she's loyal - like a horse, or a good dog. Apart from that, she doesn't seem to be any sort of even barely adequate legal thinker, more clever than wise, a good courtroom attorney - I guess THAT would impress the Chimp, I guess he's seen Perry Mason and figures that Perry woulda made a dandy Supreme Court Dude......
