October 10th - another great day in Republican Party History
On this date in 1973, that great republican statesman spiro agnew pleaded no contest to income tax evasion and resigned as VP. Hopefully there will be more gop calendar notations to be made in October.

5. Hey, that was my dad's birthday! Was supposed to be mine too,
but I didn't want to miss his party and got to town a bit early ;)

He never really forgave me for that

3. Ahhh yes - he of the 'effete intellectuals' nomenclature.
