Louis Freeh is Back. Time to Remember WACO, What Its All About.

Forget any tripe you have heard about Freeh being outraged over crimes commited by Clinton and associates. The bottom line is that WACO happened during the Clinton administration, Louis Freeh got drafted to be FBI director shortly afterwards, the FBI went into heavy durty cover-up mode, tossing out lies left and right to cover its sorry ass, and instead of protecting the FBI, righteous Janet Reno tried to get to the bottom of the matter. This lead to all out war between the FBI and the administration.

That's right. This isn't about a semen stained dress. This is about

W-A-C-O

Here are some links. Some are presented for their factual info. Some because they show the abuse that Freeh had to suffer during his tenure, being called a liar and accessory to murder. No wonder he got pissed off. But he is pissed off about Waco.

And check out this one which criticizes the Clinton administration for joining Freeh in being over aggressive in the war against terrorism!

PS. Dont forget that Rep. Dan Burton called Louis Freeh his buddy and helped the FBI win the civil case by holding House Hearings, tyingt up evidence and getting witnesses on the record saying what Burton and Freeh wanted them to say before the plaintiffs could get them in court. So much for the American Justice System. I think the caliber of Freeh's friends says a lot about him.

1.  How Conveeeenient!
How convenient that Louie resigned about a month before 9/11. Did anybody ask him about THAT?

FBI - Federal Bureau of Incompetence...

2. But... let's talk about BUSH.. because our future is what's important...
Clinton is water under the bridge. Freeh isn't employed by us anymore, so he's not worth bothering with.

So, has anyone found any WMDs or appointed any cronys lately?

3. This is from the first link. This alone is reason enough for the book.
"The new evidence on Waco has brought the long-running conflict between the FBI and the Justice Department to the point of open warfare. Reno declared that she had been lied to by FBI officials about the use of incendiary grenades at Waco. FBI officials denounced her decision to order US Marshals into the FBI headquarters to seize the videotape and a total of four boxes of new Waco material brought there from the offices of the FBI hostage rescue team in Quantico, Virginia."

Can you imagine how pissed off Freeh must have been when federal marshall raided the FBI? Think about Deep Throat. If there was ANYTHING going on in the Clinton administration worthy of impeachment, Big Dog would have gone down. The fact that he finished his term of office means he must have been pretty clean. Sex with Monica was probably his only sin.

5. WACO started turning regular rural type folks against gov't
and the repuke's played on this by claiming dems were for big gov. and they weren't.

of course now they are show to be big gov't types and they are more intrusive of privacy then the dems ever were.

6. Freeh is being used by GOP again, just as Starr was. Rove hopes
to translate the antipathy America felt towards the Whitewater/Monica/Travelgate Pseudoinvestigations into antipathy towards Fitzgeralds Investigations of REAL criminal activity.

So, Freeh is being encouraged to get on national TV and brag about h is participation in one of the most reviled activities of the 90's--Clinton baiting. I feel sort of sorry for him. He is being used and I dont think he really understands this. He will walk away from this worse off than he began.
