Strident sounds at Fox and EIB ...
I never listen/watch either, but my breakfast place in Greenville, SC, (Tommy's Country Ham House, on Poinsette highway .. it is damned good!!!) runs Fox (usually without sound). This morning the sound was on and it was terror 24/7. Then I went over to my "new" house (ca. 1910) to check on the painters. They were listening to "Rush." Terror 24/7. Later I took a mountain property owners' association bank deposit to Wacovia .. Fox on at 75 dB in the lobby. Guess what? Terra/flu 24/7!

1. LOL!
That's so true!

The flu hasn't even figured out how to transmit itself from human to human....but on Faux, it's the 24/7 "be very afraid" routine of "what if"?

Maybe they know something we don't?

Maybe they need to go back to Aruba!

3. What's sad is it's not funny. People who
watch that tripe actually believe it. There's the dilemma.

2. Is there any way you can suggest they change the station,
in your breakfast place, or bank? I think that's horrible and have read of people on DU asking the places to change their channel. I myself go to a place on weekends that has a TV going; I have requested a change to sports or CNN, and they did it happily (though we go early so the joint was empty).

4. At my breakfast place, yes (I need to talk with Tommy, the owner).
The Wacovia bank, no. I can't threaten pulling businesses there. It is the bank of my mountain property owners' association. Just know where Wacovia stands!
