The thing is they want to offer up the American people --- somebody else as a scapegoat.

Since Rove and Delay and Cheney are up against some legal shit they probably can't get out of, the 2nd string is like, "Yeah? Oh them, they were CORRUPT - CORRUPT. Hang 'em."

Even so, their little second string is surely just as corrupt as the first string was/is, but they will try to put on the little choir boy smiles and commiserate with us about those "awful people" while they continue to advance the rethuglican agenda.
