Is everyone bored with Saddam Hussein?
and Saddam Hussein is on trial at the same time as the wrapping up of the CIA leak case. The media will continue to bombard us with Saddam.

but I think people are bored, tired and angry about the Saddam/Iraq war thing.

2. I don't know.
Seems to me that regardless of the erroneous reasons for going to war, the lies & the deceits, that Saddam was a very bad man, at least as bad as *. There can be no doubt that he is guilty of genocide, regular old murder, and a host of other crimes. And the fact that the evil Bush regime is, so far, getting away with their horrendous crimes is no reason not to cheer the fact that Saddam is facing long overdue justice.

Besides, it's tremendous human drama, however you feel about the situation. No, I think it will be awhile before people are no longer interested, whether they hope to see him hanged, or to get off scot-free and return to power in Iraq, or somewhere in between.

It's also a legitimate news story that must be covered, although that's no reason to let other legitimate news stories disappear down a black hole.

13. Why not?
He's the one that's been captured by his enemies, and is facing death by hanging.

What other nasty dictators should we be concentrating on, instead? And why them, particularly?

3. Bet The Bush Propaganda Machine is Upset now....
as Saddam Hussein Attorneys have a delay til Nov. 28,05. They were hoping for the news media to cover his trial 24/7 so his worthless crew wouldn't get as much media time...when Fitz comes out with the indictments....This is very disapointing cuz they can't tell the people what a worthless piece of sh** Saddam is, and how wonderful that Bush attacked Iraq...Time for hard work to fiqure out what to do now...tsk tsk..

4. they are charging him with 1982 crimes
Hmmmmm, if we were so outraged about it, why didn't Reagan, Bush 41, or Clinton do anything about it?

5. I hope the SOB gets his proper comeuppance.
That said, I hope it isn't just the monster that sees the light of justice, but Dr. Frankenstein as well. The only indication that the trial is fair will be whether the US takes a black eye as well. I love my country, right or wrong, but for chrissakes, couldn't we try for right just a little more often?

6. Just a two-bit player in the murderous dictator game.
I think everyone knows his trial will be a sham. Can't have the truth about the Bush Crime Syndicate coming out, can we? A real trial would probably topple many governments who propped him up.
