Republicans are putting lipstick on a hog called the Iraq War...
They did not want to accept the Democratic plan for a timetable. They chose to pay lip service. Instead of a timetable, they requested that the White House report to Congress every three months on the "progress" toward getting our troops out. They are buying time to get themselves thru the upcoming election. Only the naive would believe they had any intention of withdrawing our troops. More of the same tired shit. A few grunts and snorts with a big twist tube of very red lipstick.

1. Maybe the WH can simultaneously report on the "progress"
being made investigating exaggerated intel, and releasing the Abu Ghraib photos.

Note to self: don't hold breath.
