GOP/Woodward Love/Hate Affair - Like a soap opera....
So, let's recount the score so far -

In the 70's, the right hated Woodward, then in the 80's they were still disappointed because of Woodward's CIA book and his deathbed conversations with Casey over Iran/Contra. Then in the 2001 they grew to love him with his fawning over GWB.

Now the affair seems to grow even fonder over the CIA leak.

My, what will it be in the next decade? Will it become known that Jeff Gannon/Guckert, Scotty. Ari and Ole Woody had frequent parties together with a man named Scooter?

As someone much smarter than I once said, "you know, we are headed for deep trouble when we have a 'Dick, Bush and Colin' running the country."

1. Saint Woodward's lust to be #1 BrownNoser to Power

overwhelmed the integrity - or what we assumed was integrity - of his
Watergate triumph. Feet of clay, the old idols fall. Didn't Bob Dylan tell us something like that?
