12. Guess Lincoln and Pryor think people won't freeze to death in Arkansas.
However, it was 19 degrees here this morning and I think we rank about 47th. in average income. Nice to see these two DLC'ers are so very concerned about the people back home.

15. Does anyone know
what the profit per gallon was? I had a repuke friend of mine email me that their profit per gallon (after all expenses) was about 9 cents, while the taxes (federal, state and local) ranged from 33-62 cents per gallon, depending on the state. I'm trying to find out if this information is accurate, and I'm not sure where to look. I was tempted to check out oil company web pages, but I doubt I'd get accurate information there, just spin. I want to tell my friend he's full of shit (again) but I want some numbers to back it up. I would find it difficult to make the argument that a mere 9 cents per gallon profit on a 2.50-3.00$+ gallon of gasoline is evidence of industry wide gouging.
