GOP running scared on Iraq! Have reverted to campaign style attack ads!
Edited on Tue Nov-22-05 02:11 PM by flpoljunkie
Just saw this one on CNN, entitled, "Harry Reid and the Democrats: Dishonest on Iraq."

http://www.gop.com/MultiMedia/VideoPlayer.aspx?ID=1035&TypeID=2

Ends with the usual, "Call Harry Reid and tell him to stop playing partisan politics and stand behind the troops."

Says the party who disputes the patriotism of those who would criticize this corrupt, inept administration. How utterly hypocritical!

1. I saw that crappolla.....
Then the one for the Supreme Court...

Do they really think Harry Reid is going to give a rats ass about how someone in Alabama or New York or Arizona feels about his leadership abilities....

2. Re: hypocrisy
I suppose in their book people like John Murtha and Chuck Hagel really are not patriots because they are raising the same questions that many of us have raised in many of these posts.

How many other veterans has the Bush Administration left hanging? How many other Veterans has the Bush Administration bashed for questioning the party and the administration? I suppose that’s a whole other topic.

3. You did notice how Cheney made a point of praising Murtha yesterday, whom
they feel that cannot afford to trash. Wonder if Scotty was called on the carpet for calling Murtha a "Michael Moore" democrat.

Hagel they just ignore, and hope the media will do likewise.

4. Not a chance
Comparing Murtha to Michael Moore was deliberate and planned. Not just a Scotty slip-up. If Cheney is praising Murtha today, so what?

(oh and fwiw... Murthat may not be Moore, but they're both patriots in their own way)
