According to the Washington Post, Bubp is a low-level RW fundie. Granted, I'd hate to have my life described so succinctly, but apparently low-level RW fundies kind of appreciate being recognized as such. In any case, you have a RW fundie disassocating himself and his remarks from another RW fundie nutter, Jean Schmidt. Just how scary is that, when they start distancing themselves from each other. Think about that. A RW fundie too much of a nutter to be associated with other RW fundies. Kind of makes your head explode.

This clown is not a junior officer, he's a Colonel--and yet, he has managed to miss EVERY damn 'adventure' we have undertaken as a nation, and seeing as the reserves have been increasingly burdened, I just cannot understand how he managed to avoid ANY of the hotspots. Hell, he's been to War College, NDU, and what looks like ACDUTRA at CENTCOM. There are no apparent real operational assignments in his limp little curriculum vitae.

I read somewhere his unit went to the sandbox, but somehow, he stayed home....
