How leading liberals preach one set of "ideals" for you and me -- while living by quite different standards themselves
Do As I Say (Not As I Do)
by Peter Schweizer

Hypocrisy has proved to be a wonderful weapon for liberals in their war against conservatives. When a pro-family politician gets caught cheating on his wife, or a conservative pundit turns out to have a bad habit or addiction, their enemies use the charge to good effect. Fair enough. But what happens when the spotlights are turned on liberals themselves? Do the supporters of progressive taxes, affirmative action, strict environmental safeguards, and unionized labor practice what they preach? In a word: NO. Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy is Hoover Fellow Peter Schweizer's hard-hitting exposé of the contradictions between the public stances and real-life behavior of prominent liberals like Hillary Clinton, Michael Moore, Al Franken, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Ralph Nader, Barbra Streisand, and many more.

Reagan's War: The Epic Story of His Forty Year Struggle and Final Triumph Over Communism
by Schweizer, Peter

About this title: In this meticulously researched analysis of the Cold War and the man who ended it, Schweizer delves into the origins of Ronald Reagan's vision of America, and documents his consistent, aggressive belief in confronting the Soviet Union diplomatically, economically, and militarily.

6. Hmmm, sounds from the capsule like a little hypocrisy of his own
Why yes, when "liberal" voices transgress, just check DU. There's never a shortage of folks to criticize and condemn. I've seen savaging on DU boards of every one of the "liberal" names Schweizer invokes in the capsule.

And while he says "fair enough" about criticism of conservatives caught in their lies, he clearly doesn't mean it. Because if he did, he'd surely write about Rush Limbaugh's drug addiction, George W. Bush's dereliction of duty or fast-and-loose stock shenanigans. But I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Schweizer has never written an adverse word about any pro-family politician (And what the hell does that locution mean? Who is anti-family?) or conservative pundit.

If he's going to throw brickbats at unnamed liberals for not criticizing other "liberals" for unidentified transgressions, he surely has a long catalog of conservatives he's criticized, right?

Smells like hypocrisy to me, Mr. Schweizer. Pretty rank hypocrisy.
