i got an e-mail from moveon.org yesterday asking that i call my
congressman and tell him that we want an exit strategy for iraq. i called 3 times, got 3 different people and finally i asked the 3rd if she wanted my name and number. she said "no we're getting a lot of calls today". why do i get the feeling that my congressman didn't get the message or if he did inasmuch as he's a republican he wouldn't give a rat's ass.

1. Because getting out of Iraq isn't in their plan?
Or maybe the same reason one of my congreess men keeps sending me thank you etters when I send him letters asking why he's attacking the American people with his policy choices.
