Just returned from a trip to Iraq. He said he went to Baghdad, Mosul, and one other city which I forget. He said the troop morale was sky high. He took a few questions and pushed the Republican line that the Democrats have "no plan". I guess Murtha's plan was "no plan" because it did not agree with the Bush/Republican "plan"?
I kept waiting for a question about his foray into Baghdad. Did he walk the streets and talk to the people? Did he go on patrol with the Marines? Was he excorted from the airport to the "Green Zone"? Why don't the reporters get out of the "Green Zone" and report all this good news? Are they afraid of being kidnapped or killed? Why are they more isolated now than they were two years ago?
