Start up the shredders boys !
All the information that is gathered under the FISA ruling are required to be destroyed if there is no connection to the supposed crime. Does anyone think the Bush people have shredded the evidence they collected in all their spying? (By the way, it's not "eavesdropping", it is spying.) Will we ever know whose names were on the "enemies list" of this corrupt Administration?

The day Iran-Contra hit, I remember like yesterday sitting behind our favorite ice house/beer joint drinking a beer after softball practice and just saying that they were shredding documents right as we were talking about it and drinking beer. Turns out we were exactly correct. I have no doubt now they have had the shredders running 24/7 since Friday.

3. They Had the Shredder Repair Crews on 24 Hour Call for Iran-Contra
The shredders were breaking down under the load, and they had to call in the repair people several times.

There are going to be some shredder repair crews working over the holidays.

2. Definitely a pattern developing here
Like how Alberto Gonzales allowed Andrew Card to wait 12 hours (although there have been reports it might have been much longer) before notifying WH staff of the Valerie Plame case, and telling them to preserve documents.
