Poll question: What is your #1 political wish for 2006?
Or maybe not so political wish? This should help you sort out your priorities for next year.

Would you continue to follow politics if you won the lotto?

If Dems win everything in 2006, will that help impeach and bring the troops home?

If Fitzgerald indicts Rove?

So your #1 wish can lead to many other/more wishes becoming a reality!!!

2. Dems sweep the elections, of course!
Everything else falls into place after that, except winning the lotto and getting a life.

7. Yup
There are so many things that need hearings so that the public learns all the horrors of what they've been doing to our country. Impeaching Bush/Cheney isn't enough. There need to be hearings about how they've been lining their own pockets and benefitting the ultra-wealthy, just for starters.

Our Dems must be able to issue subpenas and make the crooks testify under oath.

During her General Election campaign against Ed Cox - - thereby trouncing Cox in November 2006 and ensuring herself a long and productive career in the U.S. Senate. :)

18. a better choice
we will never be the same unless we resurrect the jfk democrats, that yes
were the mind fixers of ronald reagan. jfk would have been so ashamed of
his brother ted. i will always be a jfk demo, and we will not win again
until that mindset is put back in concrete.
I can be a democrat and not be a liberal.
I can be a democrat and be against abortion
I can be a democrat and be against the death penalty
I can be a democrat and believe in Jesus Christ
I can be a democrat and protect the environment while using common
sense in developing other methods of energy useage.
I can be a democrat and love my country, respect our courageous
troops, while believing that we protect our country at home and not
force our neighbors everywhere into hating us because of our desire
to rule the world.
I can be a democrat and support the right to bear arms, while knowing
full well that only unintelligent citizens seek out machine guns to
hunt turkey or deer with.
I can be a democrat and hope that fdr's better world dream can come
true for those who truely need help in surviving in this world.
Especially the elderly who some certainly can not afford medication
they need for life itself.
I can be a democrat and be against hillary, and hope and pray that
our party chooses someone like me to be the party leader, for our
futures are in danger with people such as howard dean.
The only chance we have now is to come back and prove that the common
man, not the wealthy man, the average man, not the special man,
the underpriviledged man, not the silverspoon-mouthed man can run
this country.
If these things are not focused upon, we have nothing but nothing
ahead of us.
The average man must take control of this country, and it can be done.
This bs about money being the only way to get votes must die. Life
must come to the reality of the strength of honest good working men.
