It bothers me when liberals spend time discussing Mr. O'Reilly. He does not present arguments that need to be debated. He is just spouting outrageous hate and loves the attention he gets from liberals. He is not promoting any agenda other than him making money. He commonly contradicts himself but he doesn't care. His followers revel at his stirring up the liberals. Media Matters, Stephanie Miller and David Letterman help him when they give him attention. I recommend that we all ignore him entirely.

ORielly is cycling faster and faster. Here is the cycle: go on an outrageous tangent that riles up one's listeners - if it works, work it for all it is worth; because of the outrageousness - be dismissed as a wacko by others - strike back (he hates being dismissed) - then go on an even more outrageous story/angle to rile up the listeners but become dismissed by an even larger part of the population as a wacko (due to the increasing outrageousness of the rants); in response to the overall growing dismissiveness - get even more outrageous to prove how much of a following is out there... rile up the (shrinking) following; be further dismissed.

Seriously, I see a Morton Downy Jr meltdown incident somewhere in the not so distant future for mr Orielly. He is working so very hard to marginalize himself - because it works so well for him; yet at the same time he can't stand being marginalized.
