Did you hear what Ted Kennedy did during the confirmation hearings of Judge Samuel Alito?!

After suggesting that Judge Alito was a closet racist, Sen. Kennedy childishly grandstanded over the review of documents, leading to a verbal confrontation with Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter.

Kennedy's actions were just the latest in a line of desperate attacks by the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee against Judge Alito.

Even liberal commentators and newspapers are noting that nomination hearings are turning into a circus:

Since they have no real grounds to defeat Judge Alito's nomination, Ted Kennedy, Pat Leahy and their Democrat friends are distorting the truth and viciously attacking Judge Alito's personal background and views. While Samuel Alito has stood strong during this onslaught, the Democrats have succeeded in bringing the Judge's wife to tears.

We mustn't let the Democrats destroy the reputation of a well-qualified conservative judge!
