without admitting he was ever wrong? This is just a hunch...BTW all my hunches are wrong but regardless... could it be that while Greenland's melting in an unprecedented rate, he's just preparing to save his lame ass by mentioning about weening of oil and energy conservation before he leaves the office?

As he's giving a speech to the Asia Society, he's mentioned again about our oil addiction and that he's willing to share the energy conservation technologies i.e. hybrid cars to India and others.

I guess I'm an optimist but maybe even this bonehead may have finally realized the kind of doom scenerio that we may be facing??

1. I disagree, simply because...

even if he recognized that global climate change could be catastrophic, he wouldn't give a rat's ass. As he himself once said, "History? Who cares? We'll all be gone."

Bush is busting out an alternative energy agenda because it's popular with the American people. This is just a bald attempt to gain political points, nothing more.
