Interesting and telling review of barnes new book "Rebel-in-Chief" by Michiko Kakutani (NYT News Service.)

barnes, executive editor of right wing rag "weekly standard" and co-host of republican party media machine faux news program "The Beltway Boys" will soon publish a book about bush. Here's part of the review:

"Barnes had unusual access to members of the press-phobic administration. But he did not use this access to ask hard hitting questions. Instead, his book ECHOES the administration's own portrayals of itself, even employing the same sort of MACHO ADJECTIVES the WH and bush campaigns have used to characterize the president "bold," "audacious," "steadfast," "unflinching."

There you have it. Fair and balanced barnes writing a book which ECHOES white house spin. Don't need to buy that one.

. . . oh my GOD, can this Puke be any more of a depository to the Texas Tard? This is worse than any Heritage fluffing in that it shamelessly vaults a fourth-rate puppet like Bewsh, who pretty much owes his entire career to his name only, to the level of an FDR or TR.
