for PEACE IN IRAQ and JUSTICE AT HOME

SATURDAY, APRIL 1, 2006
a date linking the 3rd anniversary of the war, March 20,
with the 38th anniversary of Dr. King's death, April 4

ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Gather at the King Center on Auburn Avenue at 12 noon
March step-off at 1 pm; Rally at Piedmont Park 2 to 4 pm

The Birmingham Peace Project will sponsor a charter bus from Birmingham to the Regional March and Rally for Peace in Atlanta on April 1.

COST

The base cost of the round trip ride is $18.00. However, we offer the following price tiers:

1) Base Cost -- 18.00
2) Base Cost When Paid through Paypal -- 20.00
3) Scholarship Assistance Fare -- 18.00 plus anything above base which you wish to contribute toward scholarships.
4) Scholarship Assistance Fare When Paid through Paypal -- 20.00 plus anything above base which you wish to contribute toward scholarships.

(Scholarships will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Applicants should email or call me and fill out some basic contact info )

DEPARTURE INFO AND STOPS

Specific time and place TBA. Bus will depart from Birmingham, travel to Atlanta and return to Birmingham on the same day. The projected departure time is 8:00 AM CST and projected return time 7:00 PM CST. The departure point will be near major routes with parking for cars.

Stops: A stop is planned for Oxford/Anniston. Other stops may be considered if there is group wanting to travel.
