Show Me The Money!! the need for disclosures

Justice Kennedy is on CSPAN live, testifying before congress about federal judges and whether the trips and gifts they get from special interests are appropriate.

It's outrageous for federal judges to take anything more than a breath mint from anyone other than the pay they receive as a federal judge. Don't tell me you're earning it, or you deserve it, or it doesn't affect your judgment. Don't do it, don't take it.

And same for congress people. If you can't eat on your salary, maybe that will make you closer to the average American.

It starts will full disclosure, and "I got a check" with no indication of amount is not doing that.

4. yep, and he's not even in an airport
While perhaps funny in imagery, there is a certain ominous aspect to citizens disclosing an ever increasing amount of information to government, which provides less and less information to voters.

Is this a reasonable practice in a period called in "information age?"

7. then they'll give the info to the IRS and then according to current news
The IRS gives it to everyone else who even resembles a government agent, as your accountant sells it to the highest bidder.
