1. I've had that thought, often, myself.
And then I wondered what we could have accomplished in New Orleans if we'd spent that amount of money there, instead.:-(

2. People are waking up
W would say it's a "local" issue and the feds shouldn't interfere. Our taxes and the feds only rebuild schools in foreign countries. We are on our own here.

we'll have to rebuild Iran. That might take quite a while....
