James Jeffrey. he spoke but didn't say anything.

(an aside: a short while ago a man from Russia or maybe Iran was seen on c-span speaking at a podium. it was important, I can't remember who.

he had on a black pinstripe suit. an unusual type of pinstripe. and a unique black tie with white shirt. I thought, wow, whoever picked out his clothing had verve!

since then I've noticed american political men turning up on TV political shows trying to imitate his style. James seemed to be trying this morning.)

4. James Jeffrey was a boring "yes" man. The host, Connie Doebelle (sp)

became absolutely incensed when a caller got her good for her earlier subject of the Clintons' marriage. The caller asked why Connie wasn't looking at Newt's three marriages, Rudy's three marriages, and even her own marriage and the fact that Brian Lamb has never been married. Connie got so hot and could only stammer that the caller was wrong about the two C-Span personae that she mentioned. With that Connie ended the calls on the subject of the Clintons' marriage.

The Clintons' marriage is their own damn business, haven't these voyeurs peeked enough into their privacy?

C-Span is so Repug, it is now very difficult to watch.
