1. Unfortunately, I'm 99 percent sure Crist will get the Rep. nomination...
and subsequently, I think he'll probably win the general.

Gallagher could still pull off an upset and lose the general election for the Reps. No reason to assume he can't. Harris is! And that's in Florida too. Floridian Republicans seem to be especially stupid human beings.

such an easy time winning this governorship in a swing state (swing states have solidly turned against Bush and Company)?

5. Just because someone thinks Bush sucks
it doesn't mean that they are going to go out and vote for dems. Also, keep in mind that many people don't like Bush because he isn't conservative enough for them.

4. Then let's hope newly minted conservative Gallagher wins GOP primary.
If Jim Davis is good enough to be endorsed by Bob Graham and Rhea Chiles, widow of Lawton Chiles, he is good enough for me.
