Hay Bright endorsed by Congressman Dennis Kucinich

Maine Democratic U. S. Senate candidate Jean Hay Bright has received a convention-eve endorsement from Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH).

In urging Maine Democrats to support her nomination in the June 13 primary, Kucinich said, "Jean can win in November because Maine is ready to vote for peace and sustainability."

"The tide is beginning to turn nationally," Kucinich said Thursday. "Jean's election to the Senate will spark a new beginning not only in Maine, but across America. Her courage and her heart are needed in the Senate."

Kucinich told the campaign that he appreciated Hay Bright's strong support of his presidential bid two years ago, when Hay Bright was an active volunteer in his effort in Maine. The Ohio Congressman said he expects to campaign for Hay Bright in the fall.

"Jean's election will bring to the Senate a much needed voice for peace, for single payer universal health care, and for the environment," Kucinich said.

The Maine Democratic Convention is Friday and Saturday, June 2 - 3, at the Augusta Civic Center.

1. Both Maine senators are con artists.
They support war and bad economics. Who needs them. They put on a front because they are pro choice, while supporting Alioto. They need be gone. Maine can show the way to a better country and rid us of these con artists.

4. Yup,
they talk the "Moderate", pro-choice talk, but when Frist comes calling for the votes, they march in lock-step with the rest of the puke fascists. The great state of Maine deserves, and can, do better!
