Bob Novak, Pelosi out if Dems don't retake the House??

Yeah, I know, it's nusty Novak I'm going with, but he's usually right about these things, since he's been in Washington since the Civil war. Novak hears from his souces that Nancy Pelosi could very well be out as House Democratic leader if Democrats don't become the majority party again. The number two behind Pelosi would be Steny Hoyer, but he and Pelosi have major problems with each other, and a lot of the rank and file may not be too comfortable with him taking over.

The person behind the scenes, making noise to become the next leader is Rahm Emanuel. He is quietly, behind the scenes pushing himself to become the new Democratic leader. The Dems see a great opportunity to retake the House from the Republicans, and if they don't, Pelosi could take the fall as an ineffective leader.
