Will "traditional media" talk about the White Flag Democrats
who voted "Yea" on today's GOP sham, or will they be talking about the THREE REPUBLICANS who voted "Nay"? (Duncan, Paul, and Leach)

1. My Congressman
Gene Taylor (D), Mississippi, voted for the amendment but I will still support him. I couldn't bare the alternative neanderthal the gop will run against him down here in South Mississippi. The gop already has the commercials ready to run branding those who voted no as traitors, cowards etc so I'm glad Taylor will be immune from that garbage. He's a coast guard veteran and kicks gop ass every two years.

4. Understood
Still, if he always kicks ass and has strong support, could he have voted Nay and still won? (Seriously, just curious)

7. I really don't know
if his vote was sincere or not. He is quite popular and he was a hero after katrina; but I've seen some of the work the right wing hate machine does down here. They are worse than vicious. And come September and October they may be downright desperate.

2. Request for information...
Pardon my ignorance, but which GOP sham do we have today?

There are just so many, I can't seem to keep up.

9. They are not White Flag Dems, they are the DLC
The media will not talk about them as a group because the DLC likes to hide behind the Democratic label even though the DLCers vote with the GOP in the majority of cases.
