to continue - America, Israel and my country Britain (because of Tony Blair's cruelty and cowardice).

Israelis should be aware that they have just ensured that their grandchildren will not be able to live in peace either. The US had just made itself more hated.

And we have a cocktail waiter for a Prime Minister. He is toast.

5. Thanx
Although I didn't think it mattered too much. It's pretty clear that it's Israel, the US and the UK against everyone else.

6. Taking out Lebanon's infrastructure is a prelude to further aggression in
Syria and Iran. Hezbollah is just a minor target and excuse.

7. Bush and Blair get their rocks off having wars in which each is in no
danger of being killed. What Israel is doing is illegal. America and Israel are risking a HUGE WAR with Syria and Iran on Lebanon's soil. LOTS OF YOU WILL DIE, unless you frakking get rid of your administration. What Bush is doing is illegal, too, but unlike the UK the US is supplying all the munitions and funding the soldiers (American and Israeli) as well as supplying US troops.

11. Benbow....
I don't know how long you've been a member of DU, or where you live...but for you to say....in capials no less...."LOTS OF YOU WILL DIE unless you get rid of your frakkin administration" makes me wonder exactly what you might be trying to tell us...or where you live, since it must not be here in the US??? Is your comment meant as a positive comment? is it a threat? It should be obvious, that we have a couple years yet, until we can depose the nastiness that currently inhabits DC...most of us can see where this whole thing in the ME is headed...and I venture to say that most of us don't agree with it...where did diplomacy go, why can't these feuding countries/factions attempt, for the betterment of all to get along?...I am not against Israel, personally...I am against aggression of any kind...done by any country or any individual group...

NO ONE in their right mind wants to see the horrors unfold as they are in the ME...for ANY reason...it does NOT benefit anyone...invading another country illegally, is just that...and is WRONG...and when innocents are dying by the hundreds, because of the actions of a very few, I would venture to say, that it saddens any of us from the US, Britain, and Israel, with loved ones anywhere...

So if your comment was meant as a threat, I, for one, didn't appreciate it...and if I interpreted it wrong, then I apologize for making a scene...You need to remember, that not all of us feel we are represented by this president and his actions...The majority, according to the polls, are against him AND his policies...not all of us are wanton killers, exactly like the innocents who are being killed in Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, aren't either....

12. Correct
I'll go a step further and suggest the possibility that the Mossad took out Hariri in order to remove Syrian troops from the frontier and set up the field for the conflict.

13. Yup. All Hezboallah has to do is agree...
to return the soldiers they kidnapped and abide by the security council resolution to disarm.

So why don't they?

15. And all Israel has to do
is to vacate the little patch of Lebanese territory that it still occupies - even though it has no economic or military value.

And it woudn't hurt if Israel actually follwed a UN Resolution once in a while, or applied international law, or stopped its apartheid policies, etc etc etc.
