First of all, megalomaniacs are weak, insecure, and mentally unstable individuals with illusions of grandeur and a belief in great undertakings. They are "decisive" and demand that people follow them. Unfortunately, the decisions they make are usually calamitous. And they will usually lead their followers over the cliff. Does that make them great leaders?
No, not hardly. It would make them dangerous - not decisive. Those in the media, such as Chris Matthews and others, that would define it as a "strength" are prone to follow the others over the cliffs. They fail to distinguish between true leadership, that acts with good judgement and true strength, from a charlatan that acts with the poorest of judgement and without planning.
Such is the leadership of George W Bush. He is not a strong leader. He is a foolish leader. We should not mistake his "decisiveness" as a positive. He makes decisions without thinking and without judgement. He would lead us all over the cliff if we should follow...
