VENUS, FL – Senator John Kerry (D-MA) and Democratic Congressional Candidate Tim Mahoney will hold a press conference tomorrow on the new National Intelligence Estimate and the global War on Terror. The new National Intelligence Estimate found that the American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped create a new generation of Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist threat has grown since the September 11th attacks.

Tim Mahoney is the co-founder, Chairman and COO of vFinance, Inc and the founder and President of The Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship. In addition to his successful businesses, Tim is also a cattleman where he has a ranch located in scenic southern Highlands County. His daughter is an honor student and a scholarship equestrian athlete. Tim and his family are members of the Venus United Methodist Church in Venus, FL. Tim is running for Congress in Florida’s 16th Congressional District.

Kerry has a $500 a plate dinner in FL tomorrow night to raise funds for the FL Dem Party. I guess he's in FL all day to help out and raise money.

This is coincidental. But damn, what timing. I wonder what kind of questions they will get now at that presser.

I liked Kerry's ad lib in Iowa - at the tailgate party for the game between the 2 Iowa colleges. It was something to the affect that their rivalry was second only to Republican congressman and prosecutors.

From Mahoney's background, it looks like he can bring honor back to that seat. How utterly bizzare that Foley headed the committee that was suppose to protect children from this. It's great that as this race is in the spotlight, Mahoney will have someone as high profile as Senator Kerry with him.

Editted to say that his web site is cool. The talking Mahoney who pops out seems to be very likable and a good guy.
