16. Well first off .. on the 60 Mintues interview

WOW Lesley Stahl came prepared with all of the RW talking points didn't she? Why would we (Nancy) need to pledge that there won't be an impeachment? Are they negotiating terms? Are they that sure they are going to lose?

Second Nancy should have (IMHO) had said that nothing is promised to anyone. If they are that corrupt they should start throwing THEM out of the Congress on the first order of business and then take the last hour everyday to kick the corrupt out and to start new investigations.

That is just my opinion.

Come on folks we knew that the Patriot Act went too damn far but we voted so we wouldn't look weak on terror and that fucked us up.

Really, we knew the whole War in Iraq was a load and the Bush administration was playing with the intel.
I remember reading the conflicting reports BEFORE the war. The only one that had a good excuse was Kerry who said, "Yeah I voted to give him the power but had no idea he would fuck it up this bad." in the Rolling Stones interview and that was before the whole "I voted for it and then against it" flack.

There are times for politics but when lives are on the lines and the constitution is on the line damnit you have to take a stand.

No impeachment? I guess I can deal with that maybe if we don't take the Senate there really its not going anywhere anyway. Stil, promising and pledging? Bullshit.

But what about investigations into war profiteering? I want to see that. What about investigations into war crimes? What about a full disclosure on how many people have really died in this conflict?
