New BigPath Download(s): Republican Distractions: $6 Billion a Month in Iraq and You Want Us to Think About Gay Marriage?

Download at: BigPath/Republican-Distractions/Fringe-Social-Issues/.

If you can help: Since I'm so late in getting the site up and running, it will be a huge help if anyone interested would spread the word around via email, posts on other sites, etc. I'm planning on adding as many new pieces as physically possible every day. As I did in 2004, I'll post announcements of new additions here in the appropriate forum(s) as they become available.

About BigPath:
BigPath exists for one purpose only: to produce motivational PDFs for download. They are clearly progressive in nature and aimed at a Democratic audience. However, this year there will be more pieces aimed at swing voters. Every download on BigPath is free. Download any PDF as many times as you want. Distribute them any way you want. Print as many copies as you want. Use them as posters or rally handouts, hang them on bulletin boards, mail them to friends and family. We ask just two things in return: 1) leave the BigPath logo and copyright slug on every page you use and 2) tell everyone you know about the site. Note: You must have cookies enabled to download.

2. And dems only want to talk about raising the minimum wage...
Edited on Fri Oct-27-06 01:35 PM by Tom Joad
now i'm all for raising the minimum wage. but i have been to congressional campaign websites and sometimes you really have to dig for a position on the Iraq war. then when you find it is as wishy-washy as hell.

If Dems had all run on getting the troops out within 6 months, there would probably be talk of the pukes losing 80 seats instead of maybe 30.

Besides, if they run on a real anti-war platform, it would have been the right thing to do.

3. One small problem
By my estimate, and a rough count, there are about 400 people in the lower picture. At 100 million each, that comes to 40 billion people.

4. Dang, I suck at math!
Fixed. I can't believe you counted. Now there are roughly 280 people in the picture. And, unless I screwed on the number of 0's again, it's 280 x 1,000,000 = 280,000,000.
Is that right?
DOH!
