No strong positions on controversial issues
Able to "bring the country together"
Able to work with Republicans
Able to accomodate requirements of Big Business
Able to generate excitement and network ratings
Willing to be artificially pumped up and then beaten down

Persons too well prepared for Presidential responsibilities need not apply.
