Dilemma for Bush : Does he listen to Rush Limbaugh or to James Baker?
Edited on Wed Dec-06-06 12:33 PM by kentuck
Caught a couple of minutes of Limbaugh and he's calling it the Iraqi Surrender Group. He says they only wanted to talk about "bi-partisanship" and "consensus". They don't want to talk about "victory", he says. Will Bush be listening to Limbaugh or to Baker? My bet is on Limbaugh.
2. At first he'll make like he's open to discussion, then he'll be the same old same
old imbecile who will stay the same old course of murder and suffering in Iraq. He never listened to the security measures of the 911 Commission, so why would give anything more than a little lip service to this report?
This is his daddy's last opportunity to pull the chimp's chestnuts out of the fire. The old fart was probably blubbering the other night because he realized that chimpy wasn't going to take the helping hand he was offered. Limpballs is making a blatant appeal to *'s fragile ego - "if * is a real man he won't listen to these pussies". You know the chimp will take that dare and when he fucks up again he truly is on his own. Nobody including poppy will be able to save him. Unfortunately there's a very real chance he'll drag the rest of down with him.
and "rally the base". Since the election results from last month don't seem to have had any effect on the Dems' round heels (Gates), there is no need for Smirk to behave any more sanely than he has for the last 6 years.
The only reason he MIGHT go with the ISG is that when chaos ensues in Iraq he can blame it on the Dems.
Yeah, El Pigbo says that the Iraq Study Group wants to unite the country in defeat. I just couldn't resist listening to him today. He's a laugh riot...
10. (just back from getting lunch) Rush said that redeployment
has ALWAYS been in the plan.... to some degree (he added the last part in as hushed a tone as possible)
He also said that the Syrians and Iranians are THRILLED as the US is clearly getting out of the region.
Uh Rush we are going to have to ask the Syrians and the Iranians for their help to help fix the situation much like they did in Afghanistan (the Iranians).
First caller equated us leaving Iraq with pulling out our support in Afghanistan when the Soviets were there and how (God I can't believe I am typing this) that created a vacuum .... problem is that Rush and this dittohead don't understand that the Taliban and alQaeda are way more of a threat to everyone IN power in the ME than they could ever be to us. The last thing anyone wants is some radical fundamentalists to sieze power of a nation, think of how tragic that could be. ;-)
