WELLESLEY, Mass. - The senior thesis of Hillary D. Rodham, Wellesley College class of 1969, has been speculated about, spun, analyzed, debated, criticized and defended. But rarely has it been read, because for the eight years of Bill Clinton’s presidency it was locked away.

As forbidden fruit, the writings of a 21-year-old college senior, examining the tactics of radical community organizer Saul D. Alinsky, have gained mythic status among her critics — a “Rosetta Stone,” in the words of one, that would allow readers to decode the thinking of the former first lady and 2008 presidential candidate.

Despite the fervent interest in the thesis, few realize that it is no longer kept under lock and key. As MSNBC.com found, it is available to anyone who visits the archive room of the prestigious women’s college outside Boston. With Clinton’s opponents in the 2008 presidential race looking for the next “Swift Boat” attack ad, and the senator herself trying to cast off her liberal image, Clinton's 92-page thesis is certain to be read and reread by opposition researchers and reporters visiting the campus.

She should not have tried to have it sealed.

Some speculate she doesn't want it released 'cos it contains the smoking gun to her socialist views. Hell, so what? If she released it, she could say that's how she was when she was 21, but she's matured since then. And she could further respond with that saying attributed to Churchill about how if you aren't a liberal in your 20's you have no heart, and not a conservative in your 30's you have no brain. She could do it with the same smile she did the "bad men" quip.

As the fact that Mainstream Media is setting her up for Stardom and they desperately want her to be the leading contender when the primaries are underway.

heck today Fox News had the question, "In terms of experience, who is most qualified to be President" and HRC was the leader - with almost twice the votes that Obama received."

And of course the progressive's favorite Dennis Kucinish did not get mentioned at all.

Why fight to have it sealed in the first place? What could be in there that is so bad the Clintons couldn't overcome it with their charm? Trying to have stuff like that hidden looks bad.
