1. I know Pete.

He is a great Congressman though I often do not see eye to eye with him on some things concerning logging and transportation issues. I have sat next to him in tourist class which is where he flies going back and forth from Washington to Oregon.

He is more then qualified to be POTUS. In fact he is so well grounded and unassuming compared to the egotistical and arrogant Bush he would be a breath of fresh air.

He is one of the most decent and honest public servants I have known, and I can understand why some would want to draft him.

I live in Eugene, Oregon. And I loved Wayne Lyman Morse and know how to take measure of our local politicians and oft times use him as thee yardstick to do so with. Pete has my deep respect.
