Those who hate Madam Speaker's middle east trip hate America.
After 6 years of the WORST FOREIGN POLICY IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, how ANYONE can criticize a good faith effort by Nancy Pelosi to merely travel to the middle east and meet with their leaders (instead of bombing them) TRULY hates this country. These people crave violence and death, instead achieving future security. I love my country, and that is why I support Nancy Pelosi. Fuck you GOP.

2. I agree with everything you said except the word "merely"

Pelosi is the highest ranking gov't official who is NOT a neo-con to have visited the ME and met with its leaders in years. It was truely a watershed event, both the visit AND the fact that she talked peace, and this is why the * administration is having a fit. The democrats need not apologize for anything, and we certainly don't need to hide behind an "oh, it was no big deal" meme. It was and IS a big deal.

3. Pelosi is only doing what our Secretary of State should be doing
but is incapable of doing.

4. I've always thought that Bush wants to keep all Middle Eastern countries in conflict.
If they're divided and attacking one another (literally or figuratively), they have no real world power.

I hope Nancy has a thick skin. It can't be easy to hear herself characterized this way.
