Meme: U.S. paying "Security Welfare" to Iraqi Government
Edited on Sun Apr-08-07 01:27 PM by gulliver
How long will the Republicans be allowed to waste our tax dollars funding a free security welfare system for the Iraqi government? Bush broke Iraq, and it is the Republicans' fault for cheering him on, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us taxpayers should have to keep paying through the nose for the rest of our lives. That's just confiscation of my hard-earned money to pay for Bush's mistake.

The Republicans defrauded us taxpayers into the war in the first place. If Republicans want to pay security welfare forever to our new "Iraqi security dependents," let them do so through private charitable institutions. What happened to a thousand points of light? Can't the Republicans (who created the disaster in the first place) set a few points of Republican-funded charity light aglow for their beloved Shiite-led Iraqi government?

The rest of us taxpayers should not be forced to pay our hard-earned tax dollars to Iraq. That's confiscation. Why should my hard-earned tax dollars go to pay guilt money to Iraq for a mistake the Republicans made? It's time that the Iraqi government was removed from the United States security teat. They hate us anyway, and we all know that the Iraq government will vanish the second the United States turns off the free security that Bush is doling out to them.
